Belonging to a co-operative offers a unique way of controlling the path of your career and learning about the industry. When not engaged as an actor, you will be involved as an agent in the process of representing other members, working one office day per week and dealing with every aspect of the casting process. This involves telephone skills, computer literacy, and 100% commitment to the agency and the careers of all its actors as well as your own. Members are also expected to attend fortnightly meetings. In return they receive the support of all the agency's members, their collective experience, and a thorough working knowledge of the industry and its current casting possibilities. If you feel that this sounds like something you would relish please see the information below.
Applications should be made in writing by post, detailing why an applicant feels they are suitable for co-operative representation and enclosing a CV and photo.
We take care to represent our clients' individual talents, trying not to duplicate any particular profiles, so please be mindful of possible clashes within certain casting brackets before applying.
It is essential for us to see applicants work, preferably in live performance, and given at least two weeks' notice. We also accept DVDs and showreels. We do not audition.
