Corinna was born in Scarborough and trained at Central and Drama Centre, London, after studying Modern Languages at Cambridge. Her career highlight was the role of Margrethe Bohr in Michael Frayn's award-winning three-hander Copenhagen, which she played at the Duchess Theatre for 20 months.
She was delighted that her French degree came in useful at last for the role of Edith in Calibre Productions' UK tour of 'Allo 'Allo, Spring 2009.
In 2008 Corinna was in Peter Hall's production of Pygmalion at The Old Vic, reprised for the February 2009 Hong Kong Festival. At the National Theatre she was in Countrymania and Entertaining Strangers. In the West End she was in Lettice and Lovage, When She Danced and Jeffrey Bernard is Unwell.
At Christmas 2007 she toured village halls in Hampshire, Wiltshire and Dorset with Forest Forge's The Smith Family Panto. As well as Granny Doris Smith she was the evil baker Albie Nazer, and her Daisy The Cow was rated ‘unmissable' by the Salisbury Journal. Her previous tour was the title role in Euripides' Hecuba for Foursight Theatre Company.
In 2007 she made her Shakespearean debut in the rain at Ripley Castle Gardens, Yorkshire, as Dogberry and Ursula in Sprite Productions' Much Ado About Nothing.
Corinna began her career in regional theatre, including the roles of Clara in Pygmalion at Dundee, Raina in Arms and The Man at Sheringham and Gwendolen in The Importance of Being Earnest at Wolverhampton. She also played many principal boys in pantomime, including Prince Charming in Cinderella at the Sheffield Crucible. More recent regional appearances include the Good Fairy and Aunt Em in The Wizard of Oz at Worcester and Anne Marie in A Doll's House at Salisbury. In Eastern Angles' tour of Song of Provence she played two parts, sang and played the cello.
Her television appearances include Love Hurts and Footballers' Wives Extra Time. She has read four serials on Woman's Hour for Radio 4.
Between acting jobs Corinna works as a guide for London Walks and can be heard singing spooky songs in city graveyards. She swims all the year round at Hampstead Ladies' Pond. She has one son and in 2009 her husband was ordained a Priest in the Church of England.
