Helen grew up in Dorset then went on to train at Bretton Hall in Yorkshire.
Screen work includes playing the eccentric fashion PR boss Claudia in online sitcom Chelsey:OMG!, feisty Cheshire millworker Kate Kenworthy in Victorian period drama A Most Mysterious Murder We Need To Talk About Kieran with James Wilby and the kind Dorset nanny Nellie in the Regency-set feature film From Time To Time starring Maggie Smith and Dominic West which premiered at The BFI London Film Festival and aired on ITV1.
Theatre work includes playing Mrs Darling/Tiger Lilly in Peter Pan at The Sands Centre, Carlisle in which she opened the show with a solo song, Titania and Helena in two tours of A Midsummer Night's Dream, Viola in Twelfth Night, Aphrodite in new play Bacchus In Rehab at The Etcetera, various roles for live musical comedy show News Revue at The Canal Cafe and the cunning high flyer Sophie in a UK commercial tour of new comedy play Waiting For Gateaux with Lisa Riley.
Helen has a strong and versatile Mezzo Soprano voice and excellent harmony skills.
Commercial work includes leading roles in campaigns for The Sims 3 (EA Games), Taptu, Torani Coffee Syrup, as well as presenting work for a corporate commercial for Philips Lighting.
Corporate work includes role-play and corporate videos for The MOD, NHS, Royal College Of GPs,Leeds Law School and Philips.
