Joe trained at East 15. He is a multi-talented actor with a wide range of skills: a keen singer and musician, Joe is a classically trained pianist, a proficient drummer and plays the accordion to a high standard. He also has a range of circus skills to his name, including juggling, acrobalance and fire breathing.
This summer sees Joe writing, devising and performing for Greenwich Theatre in their site-specific family show.
2010 kicked off with Joe being cast as Romeo for a touring production for Box Clever Theatre Company. Prior to that, Joe was seen playing Thomas in the critically acclaimed Ernest and the Pale Moon for Les Enfants Terribles. The show was a sell out at the Pleasance Courtyard and was nominated for a Total Theatre Award.
Joe has extensive experience in community theatre and workshop leading. He has a genuine desire to use theatre as a tool for change, and is committed to challenging the preconception that theatre only takes place inside theatres. To this end he has worked for Kickstart Youth Inclusion, the Metropolitan Police and the Refugee Council, Brixton.
