2011 began with Joe touring with Theatre Royal Bath’s revival of The History Boys as walking understudy. This coming autumn, we are very proud to announce that Joe will be moving to New York to train with the Blue Man Group.
Last year, Joe played the lead in When we Lived in Uncle’s Hat produced by York Theatre Royal, for which he received rave reviews across the national papers. He may be best known for his role as Thomas in the critically acclaimed Ernest and the Pale Moon for Les Enfants Terribles. The play was nominated for a Total Theatre Award after its preview at The Tobacco Factory and Joe himself earned the title of ‘best actor in a play’ from the Dark Chat independent reviewers board.
Joe also has extensive experience in community theatre and is the co-founder of the inclusive theatre company subject2change. Some notable clients that Joe has worked with include: The Metropolitan Police, Kickstart Youth Inclusion and the Refugee Council, Brixton.
