During the current crisis we are working remotely, so it's going to be hard for us to meet you. This makes taking on new clients difficult. However we can watch show reels and self tapes and line you up for consideration when things get back to normal.
With that in mind, we're looking for great actors who could also be proactive agents.
As an actor you will have have a unique way of controlling the path of your career and learning about the industry. Drawing on the support of the other members you will have a network of actors who are also agents with decades of experience.
As an agent you'll be representing other members, working one office day per week, attending monthly meetings and dealing with every aspect of the casting process. This makes a co-op a great option if you are new to the profession, because you will get to see how the business works.
We also recommend reading the CPMA (Co-operative Personal Management Association) guide to co-operative agents here.
How to Apply
If all this sounds like something you would like to be part of do get in touch. You can apply by email, detailing why you feel you are suitable for co-operative membership and attaching a CV and head shot with a link to your Spotlight CV.
Please also look at the list of current members on our website by visiting the artists tab to get a better sense of how you may fit in.
At the moment we are especially looking for:
Actors in their early 20s who can convincingly play teenagers.
Actors with a diversity of heritage.
Men from 35 to 45
Women from 30 to 60
Outstanding applicants will always be considered.
As we do not audition, it is essential for us to see applicants’ work either in live performance or on a show reel. When you invite us please try to give as much notice as possible.
Due to the sheer volume of applications we receive, we can only contact those applicants we feel suitable to take further. We do however keep applications for representation on file for future reference.
