Asta Parry

Asta grew up in Farnham, Surrey. She trained at the Drama Studio London and the Desmond Jones School of Mime and physical Theatre, graduating in 2006, and has enjoyed a varied and happy career.

She is a versatile character actress with a passion for comedy roles. She toured the UK with Four Victorian Farces, playing three very different characters - a dodgy landlady, a plucky heroine and a wronged Countess. She was story-teller/guide in The Good Neighbour, a beautiful piece of immersive and interactive theatre for families at The Battersea Arts Centre.

With a degree in Community Drama and Education she has worked extensively in the theatre and in life as a teacher, nanny and performer with children of all ages. She has a warm and motherly nature which shines through in her work.

As a regular in the Dark Shadows audio series for Big Finish Productions, she plays a cut-throat Paranormal Sci-fi television presenter.

Asta is the co-artistic director and performer in the British comedy web-series/sketch show The Nappy Files
