Jeremy Killick in Forced Entertainment's Complete Works
Jeremy Killick will taking on six of Shakespeare's plays in Forced Entertainment's Complete Works: Tabletop Shakespeare: At Home.
Telling the stories of all of Shakespeare's plays using household objects and a table for a stage, the project is has been running since 2015 and has toured the world. This brilliant project offers another perspective on Shakespeare and is "simple and idiosyncratic, absurd and strangely compelling as, through a kind of lo-fi, home-made puppetry, the stories of the plays really do come to life in vivid miniature."
Tim Etchells on Twitter:
"Watching first of our 'at home' series last night, amazing to me that I still end up staring at the objects + caring/wondering abt them. Such a strange, intimate ordinary + semi-magical theatre in this."
You can watch Jeremy's first performance, A Midsummer Night's Dream, on Sunday September 20th at 8.00pm (UK time).
Throughout the project Jeremy will be telling the stories of: A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Henry IV Parts 1 and 2, Coriolanus, Twelfth Night, and Troilus and Cressida, All the performances will be available on the Forced Entertainment website and the full schedule is here.
