Clive Llewellyn
Clive was born and raised in Birmingham and trained at Rose Bruford. Over his career, his roles have encompassed everything from an aged Catholic priest in Genet’s The Blacks, for The Young Vic, to Ariel, the seven foot, roller-skating, saxophone-playing robot in Bob Carlton’s Return to the Forbidden Planet, for The English Theatre, Frankfurt, and Ken the psychic in Haunting Julia at The Queen's Theatre, Hornchurch.
Other roles include one of the Tragedian Troupe in Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, for the National Theatre and, for The New Vic Theatre, Newcastle-Under-Lyme, the Beast, in Beauty and The Beast, Mr Farthing in Kes and the Reverend Sykes in To Kill a Mockingbird.
In feature films he has accrued some notable credits in both Hollywood and Bollywood movies, as The Tadpole Vendor in the superhero film, Hellboy 2 - The Golden Army for Universal Pictures, directed by Oscar-winning director Guillermo del Toro and as Solomon in Jhoom Barabar Jhoom for Yash Raj Films.
Clive also works in the field of learning and development and medical and legal training as a role-player and simulated patient and has many credits in corporate and training films.
When not acting, Clive works as a personal development coach, is a keen grower of vegetables (his tomatoes are prolific), and a long-suffering Aston Villa supporter.
