Kat Taylor Smith
Kat was born and raised in South West London and lives there with her three children. She gained a BA Hons in Drama from the University of East Anglia and continued training with Screen Acting and Voiceover courses at City Lit in Covent Garden.
She enjoys spending time in the cinema (often Action films) and catching up on the latest TV series (often about the Emergency Services). Kat’s passion is foremostly Screen Acting. She played an Emergency Dispatcher in Short Film Stay Calm with actors Shaun Dooley, Lucy Eaton and Saffron Davies. Written, cast and filmed by upcoming Director Chas Harrington working alongside Cinematographer Rick Joaquim.
Kat loves improvisation and flexing her comedy muscles whenever she can. She greatly enjoyed her role in Comedy Short Showing Time directed by Bjorn Franklin, as a Casting Director casting the role of a pregnant character, unfortunately the audition is interrupted by the complications of the woman's waters breaking!
Other areas of interest include writing, and fitness, with twice weekly visits to the gym as well as volunteering for her local football club Teddington Athletic FC. She was also pleased to manage her older daughter’s football team for two seasons.
