



Alex Ansdell
Alex was born and raised in Oxford and trained at Italia Conti graduating in 2023.​
​
He made his professional debut in Strangers in Between at the Golden Goose Theatre, for which he was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Off West End Awards. He played Shane, a 16-year old runaway in 2000s Sydney trying to make a new life.
​
Since then his credits include NewsRevue (Canal Cafe Theatre), The Complete Works of Shakespeare Abridged (Simply Theatre, Geneva), Red Pill (Lion & Unicorn Theatre), Deathtrap, A Christmas Carol and A Brief History of Women (Marine Theatre).
​
On screen, he has appeared in adverts for Mercedes eSports and Hilton, and recently starred in a TV pilot for Caryn Mandabach Productions.
​
He is an accomplished musician, playing piano, trumpet and guitar and has a fine baritone voice.
​
Beyond acting, Alex is also a playwright. His debut full-length play FIT was long-listed for the Papatango Prize 2022, and he staged his first play Phalanx at the Lion & Unicorn Theatre in June 2024, receiving a Standing Ovation Award nomination from London Pub Theatres.
