Claire trained at Richmond Drama School. Credits while training include the dramatic and self-regarding Arkadina in The Seagull, the acerbic and urbane Hannah in Neil Simon’s California Suite and the ultimate matriarch Volumnia in Coriolanus.

Stage credits include the lead role of Diana Trent in Waiting For God , and Phyllis in Season's Greetings both at Swanage and Leatherhead Rep, Charlotte in Spotted at The Etcetera and Doctor Jane Mortimer in The Hound of the Baskervilles on tour.  As a member of The Malachites she played The Duchess of York in Richard III, Goneril in King Lear and Elizabeth in Richard 111 at The Rose Playhouse, Bankside.

Her screen credits include Jennifer (Liam Neeson’s one-night-stand) in the feature film Made In Italy.

Claire co-founded Room 6 Theatre Company with her sister, Angela, an emerging playwright, and appeared as Ann in their debut play, The Gift, at The White Bear and will be touring as the witty Lydia in their next production, The Last Retreat.

She is also a voice over artist and has voiced many in-house training sessions for pharmaceutical companies, charities and motivational speakers and between acting jobs she uses her communication skills as a sales trainer, boosting the incomes of companies both large and small.

Claire is an avid reader of classical literature and diarists, particularly James Boswell, Doctor Johnson’s biographer. She loves walking in the Surrey hills, gardening and battling with The Guardian cryptic crossword.
