Alex Bird

Alex was born and raised in London and trained at the Arts University Bournemouth.

Alex has toured in many Shakespearean productions; a career highlight was playing the effortlessly witty Berowne in Love's Labour's Lost. He has a strong background in Immersive Theatre having worked with Wet Picnic and Secret Cinema in Ghostbusters: The Gates of Gozer.  Alex has even been lucky enough to tour to China in large scale theatres across Beijing and Shanghai; in Pride and Prejudice as the odious Mr Collins.

Other Theatre credits include: The Changeling (Southwark Playhouse) I'd Be Lost Without It (Salisbury Playhouse) Great Expectations (UK Tour) Romeo and Juliet (Kings Head Theatre, Edinburgh Fringe; Assembly Rooms), Boys (Lost Theatre, London). He is currently on stage as an Understudy in the long running Play That Goes Wrong until 2025.

Alex has a love for sleight of hand magic and loves to practise on close friends when he can. The past few years Alex has turned his attention to Clowning, having trained with The London Clown School and extensive workshops with The Mischief Theatre team, including; Sean Turner, Dave Hearn, Harry Kershaw and Niall Ransome.

When not acting, Alex is a tour guide around London, which has made him an asset for any pub quiz team.
