Alex was born and raised in London and trained at the Arts University Bournemouth. Whilst in training, Alex was cast as Alan Conway in Time and the Conways, his awkward yet endearing persona drew great laughs from the audience and thus his love for comedy was born.

Since graduating Alex has toured in many productions of Shakespeare, including playing the effortlessly witty Berowne in Love's Labour's Lost. He has a strong background in Immersive Theatre having worked with Wet Picnic and Secret Cinema in Ghostbusters: The Gates of Gozer.  Alex has even been lucky enough to tour to China in large scale theatres across Beijing and Shanghai; in Pride and Prejudice as the odious Mr Collins.

More recently, Alex performed in The Changeling at Southwark Playhouse and followed his love of comedy to The Play That Goes Wrong at The Duchess Theatre.

Alex has a love for sleight of hand magic and loves to practise on close friends when he can, although he has noticed they are suddenly very busy when he asks. He is an intermediate guitar player and has a 2 star in Kayaking.

When not acting, Alex is a tour guide around London, which has made him an asset for any pub quiz team.
